- IE render seemingly solved IE8,7,6 though 5.5 is pap.
- Cookies still not saving Shopping Cart choices, though Checkout okay if you were to go straight through.
- "Browse for similar items by category: Click to Display" on item pages seems busted. Error: showhiddenscript is not defined. Link to js broken somewhere?
- Author name in sidebar links to internal frame. Want to get rid of dumb frame anyway.
- Check font size of calendar prev next months.

Mackenzie Warren from Gannett, for many know as Mr. Mojo, was a keynote speaker at the conference in Fredrikstad, Norway today. He talked about the changes he made in Fort Meyers News. His basic philosophy is that the news never happens in the newsroom. To report about news, journalists have to be out in the field (pretty basic one should think…). So, all the journalist in FMN had to get out in the street. They produce and send their story from the field. They basicly split the work process in two:

Collector - journalist - MOJOs:

· Report

· Write

· Shoot (video, pictures, sound)

· Produce

Connector - editors:

· Edit

· Crunch

· Publish

Taiwan has welcomed the first direct passenger flight from China since the two sides split in 1949.

The inaugural flight was met at Taipei airport by an honour guard of fire engines spraying water over the aircraft.

China maintains that Taiwan is part of its territory, but relations between the two states have thawed since the election of Ma Ying-jeou MAH YING jee-OH as Taiwain's president in March.

---

Liang Jen Chang from Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council says the resumption of direct flights will encourage more Chinese to view Taiwan for themselves.

It symbolises the warming up of relations between the two sides. This is a landmark decision that many tourists can come over here. By so doing they can get to know what's going on really in Taiwan.
